When we feel bad but don\u2019t really know how to process or understand what\u2019s happening to us?<\/p>\n<p>Let&#039;s look at 3 concrete ways to help us deal with difficult emotional states:<\/p>\n<p><b>1st Become aware<br \/>\n<\/b><br \/>\nWhen we feel ourselves reacting violently to things, take a step back and take stock of what\u2019s behind us. Maybe I\u2019m feeling distressed, tired or scared. Gain emotional honesty and get to know ourselves better so that we can easily recognise when something isn\u2019t right.<\/p>\n<p><b>2nd Journaling<br \/>\n<\/b><br \/>\nJournaling is a fancy name for taking a pen and paper and writing down everything that troubles us. Not judging, analyzing or thinking, but rather mentally vomiting out everything that occupies and worries us. What is important is at the tip of the pen, not in our ideas. Letting go freely.<\/p>\n<p><b>3rd Share with a friend<br \/>\n<\/b><br \/>\nReveal what is happening to us, even if we are not sure what it is! Open up to someone we trust about what is going on in our soul, and little by little we will feel the weight lifting.<\/p>\n<p>Learning to recognize what is happening, writing freely and sharing it with a friend helps us to get out of the tangled web of our emotions and see things from another perspective, with freedom and hope.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>How can we deal with difficult emotions?
